Jacek Losy is a professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology, University School of Medicine in Poznań. His main scientific field is neuroimmunology especially multiple sclerosis .He worked in the Karolinska Institute and in the Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities in New York, USA. He published over 130 papers in leading international journals, mainly in the field of neuroimmunology . Prof. Losy received many awards including Jacqueline du Prė award from MSIF. He was one of the founders of the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society and served for many years as a chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of this Society. He is also a member of the International Medical & Scientific Board Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, editor of books devoted to multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, reviewer of scientific articles for neurological journals. He organized 18 Conferences devoted to neuroimmunology on national and international level promoting education and science in this field.
