Hakan Ashina, MD, PhD, is a Physician at Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet, Denmark, and Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, US.
Dr. Ashina has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and his academic works focus on the pathogenesis of migraine and post-traumatic headache. He has extensive experience with human experimental studies involving people with migraine and post-traumatic headache.
Dr. Ashina is a recipient of the 2021 IHS Early-Career Headache Science Award (International Headache Society) and the 2021 LF Talent Prize (Lundbeck Foundation).
