Dr Bruno Gran is Consultant Neurologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary Professor of Neurology at the University of Nottingham School of Medicine.
He completed his neurology residency at the University of Florence, where he also obtained a PhD in neuroscience. He did post-doctoral training at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and at the University of Pennsylvania. He was Assistant Professor of Neurology at Thomas Jefferson University from 2003 to 2005 and Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2016.
Dr Gran’s research [https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6384-2342] currently focuses on viral immunopathogenesis of MS and its prevention.
He has authored over 120 publications [>12,300 citations, Google Scholar H-Index 51] and has been a chief / principal / coinvestigator of 21 research studies and 28 clinical trials and observational studies in the field of MS and neuro-inflammation.
